I am an English actor living in Paris. I was born and raised in London and trained as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, graduating in 1987 ( here's a list of my fellow graduates). Before going to drama school, I took a degree in Drama, and before that I did a lot of different things...from farming and offshore oil drilling to writing for the infamous OZ magazine and hanging out with the Grateful Dead.

My first love, like many actors, was for the theatre. Since I've been living in France, I've turned increasingly towards film and T.V. I am also fortunate enough to be much in demand for voice work, where a gift for accents has enabled me to provide most British and several American regional accents. My French is fluent and, although I will never sound completely French, I am capable of playing in French in a range of foreign accents. In addition, my close links with Greece through my wife's family have taught me modern Greek.

Je suis un comédien Anglais vivant à Paris. Je suis né et j'ai grandi à Londres, et j'ai suivi la formation de comédien de la Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, diplômé en 1987 (voici une liste des diplômés). Avant de faire cette école d'Art dramatique, j'ai été diplomé en Dramaturgie, et avant cela encore, j'ai fait tout un tas de choses...de l'agriculture bio aux plate-formes pétrolières, en passant par des piges pour l'infame OZ Magazine jusqu'à traîner mes guêtres avec le Grateful Dead.

Comme pour beaucoup d'acteurs, le théâtre a été mon premier amour. Depuis que je vis en France, je me suis peu à peu orienté vers le cinéma et la télévision. J'ai aussi la chance d'être beaucoup demandé pour du doublage de voix, où ma facilité à prendre les différents accents m'a permis de proposer la plupart des accents régionaux anglais ainsi que plusieurs en américain. Je parle couramment français, et même si je garderai toujours quelques intonations, je joue en Français avec plusieurs accents étrangers. De plus, j'ai des liens très forts avec la Grèce (grâce à ma femme et à sa famille), ce qui m'a permis d'apprendre le Grec moderne.
